Signs You May Need Emergency Dental Care

- Severe Pain – this is a sign of infection that may require antibiotics as well as pain relief medication

- Accident – an injury to your mouth/jaw should be seen immediately

- Cracked or Chipped Tooth - it may not seem serious, but ignoring a small crack or chip in your tooth can create larger dental issues

- Lost Tooth – assuming it was a permanent tooth, there’s a possibility the tooth could be saved if seen in time.

- Excessive bleeding - this may be due to gum disease, an accident or any number of other causes

- Pus or Infection – this type of infection could actually spread if ignored

College Avenue Dentistry is the perfect dental office to go to if you have been neglecting your teeth because of fear like me. Yesterday I walked into this office and was immediately put at ease by Andy at the checkin desk and Dr Taraporewalla. Dr. T was professional, and kind in handling my dental emergency. Andy went out of his way to assist me with paperwork and insurance. There is no reason to neglect your dental issues when you have College Avenue Dentistry nearby . I wish I had gone sooner.

The doctor was excellent—very professional, and the procedure was done smoothly with minimal discomfort. I experienced hardly any pain at the actual site of the procedure. Insurance and payment explained in detail. However, the dental tech was quite rough. It's been two days, and my mouth is still sore from where the suction tool was forcefully pressed against the back of my mouth. It’s painful when I try to swallow.
